Steven M. Crass

Mr. Crass is an attorney/Of Counsel at Wanger Jones Helsley PC.  His practice includes all types of litigation matters in federal or state court as well as hearings in front of governmental agencies, with a focus on representing public and private employers in employment-related litigation.  Specifically, Mr. Crass represents employers in wage and hour class actions, race, gender, national origin and disability discrimination cases, sexual harassment cases, breach of contract, wrongful termination and other employment matters. Mr. Crass’ practice includes advising employers on various employment-related issues, including terminations, statutory leaves and employee pay.  Prior to joining Wanger Jones Helsley, Mr. Crass was the Employment Law Department Chair at Baker Manock & Jensen and an Of Counsel attorney at Littler Mendelson.  Mr. Crass honed his trial and advocacy skills as an Assistant United States Attorney, Judge Advocate General in the United States Navy and Deputy District Attorney for Merced County.
